Our mission is to be a community that empowers local underdogs, especially vendors. We started as a few musicians in a restaurant, and as we grew we made a system that gives Jammers resources that can help their careers long term. We use our tickets and sponsorships to pay for services on your behalf, and we rely on each member of the community doing their part to help each other. The idea is you can get featured in a local publication, design and buy custom materials, marketing help, coaching, interviews, photoshoots, promotional videos, and more for free or very little cost just from selling tickets and sponsorships for YOUR market.
Why be a Vendor at Phat Jam? Good question!
- Exposure to a large crowd
- We pay YOU in resources
- Cost nothing if you help us sell some tickets
- Professional photographs/videos of your products
- Endless networking opportunities
- Opportunities to get free and discounted Resources like interviews, publication features, logo design, photoshoots, free printed materials, etc.
- Opens the door to potential future markets, workshops, promotional opportunities, and other events from Phat Jam
What can I expect?
A good time. Vending spots are either one large table or 10 x 10 spot according to your tier (based how many tickets you sell). You will get at least one picture of your products in a photo booth setting, which we put in our publication to promote. We place vendors strategically to get you sales at the Jam. Your application submission goes to a spreadsheet that we use to make our lineup every month, as well as slots in other markets. Since this is monthly and we get a lot of applications, you may be in a future month if this month isn't available. If you are selected, we will give you additional info like how tier systems work, and load in details.
Help us help you
Phat Jam wouldn’t be able to work without people volunteering, promoting, and supporting their community. The more you help promote, offer your time and expertise, the more we are able to do for artists. We get it. We are organized by vendors, musicians, comedians, poets, photographers, and so much more. We are made by underdogs, for underdogs. Let’s Jam!
