What the heck is a Phat Rag!? Good question!
Phat Rag is our publication that features underdogs in the Huntsville area. We pride ourselves in focusing on small locally owned businesses, and up-and-coming talent. Supplying the community with a platform and resources to make a living doing what they love. Phat Rag is the most fun and convenient way to support local art, music, events, businesses, and neighbors.
Not your standard Rag
Businesses and entities that purchase subscriptions with the intent of being featured are called Boxers, because with each each Rag cycle we give you a box with a few publications, as well as ways to sell subscriptions to the local public. Instead of asking for flat rates for a feature, we track how many subscriptions you sell. The more subscriptions sold through your individual code, the higher your chances of getting a custom feature. We are made for underdogs, and our objective scaling system to ensure we do just that, making it easier for Boxers that are local, small, new, and highly rated to be able to be competitive with larger corporate Boxers.
Boxer Benefits
The idea is that boxers can potentially get free targeted marketing and content just from selling subscriptions to some groovy reading material. We offer:
- $1 towards your Box subscription cost for every Rag subscription you sell, stackable over multiple Rag cycles.
- According to the feature, we will gather content ourselves that you can use as well. This means free photos, videos, and articles for higher ticket sellers.
